🚚 Fast Dispatch

At Sturdy Sports, we work hard to process and dispatch orders as promptly as possible, because we understand that customers often need their gear quickly and rely on clear delivery information.

We offer Australia-wide shipping, Express delivery options, International Express postage and Click & Collect from our Brooklyn store.

Most orders are dispatched within 1 business day. All dispatch time frames refer to Sturdy Sports working days only. Weekends, public holidays and store closure days are not counted as business days. Postal services also do not operate on weekends or public holidays.

Sturdy Sports manages the dispatch of your order; however, delivery time frames depend entirely on the postal or courier service used.

Delivery time frames begin from the date of dispatch, not the date of purchase.

🔍 Tracking

Sturdy Sports primarily ships via Australia Post. Bulky and oversized goods may be dispatched via a bulky goods carrier or another suitable courier service.

Most orders, both domestic and international, are sent with Signature on Delivery for your security. If no one is available to sign, the carrier may leave a collection card and hold your parcel at the nearest depot or post office for collection within their stated time frame.

Larger or bulky items (such as bowling machines, nets and similar) may instead be delivered with Authority to Leave, where the carrier leaves the item in a safe place at the delivery address without a signature. Please ensure your delivery address is suitable for safely receiving bulky goods. Once an item has been delivered, including any item left via Authority to Leave, responsibility for the item passes to the customer, and Sturdy Sports is not liable for any loss, theft or damage occurring after delivery.

🏬 Click & Collect

If you select Click & Collect, you will receive a separate notification once your order is ready for collection.

Click & Collect orders must be collected within 30 days of purchase.

After 30 days:

• Order fulfilment is not guaranteed
• No refund or store credit will be provided
• Change of Mind will not apply

💰 Shipping Rates & Delivery Time Frames

*Delivery estimates depend on delivery area and postal service availability. Regional suburbs and remote locations may cost more and take longer than metro areas. For urgent orders, we recommend Express Postage, subject to availability in your area. For International orders — customs clearance, local delivery processes or other delays may take longer.

🛃 International Customs, Duties & Import Charges

International deliveries may be subject to additional charges, including but not limited to:

• Customs duties
• Import charges
• Local taxes
• Other charges imposed in the country of delivery

These charges are the customer's responsibility. Sturdy Sports is not responsible for any customs duties, import charges, local taxes or other charges payable in the destination country.

Please check with your local courier or customs authority before placing an order.

💳 Currency & Payment

Prices are shown in your local currency where available, automatically converted at checkout. All transactions are processed and settled in Australian Dollars (AUD). If your card or account is held in another currency, your final charge may vary slightly depending on the exchange rate and any fees applied by your bank or card provider.

📏 *Postage Conditions & Exclusions

The above Standard and Express postage rates and delivery time frames do not apply to:

• Bulk orders
• Bulky items, including but not limited to bowling machines, oversized kit bags, cricket nets, stumps, ground equipment and similar items
• Some regional areas, extreme regional areas, remote areas, countryside areas or limited-service locations

For these orders or locations, additional postage may apply. We may contact you after purchase to confirm any additional postage cost for the postage option selected. You may also contact us before placing your order if you have any postage-related questions.

If the combined actual weight or volumetric weight of your order exceeds the eligible shipping limit, our dispatch team will contact you.

🏏 Match Ready Service

Please allow up to 5 business days for dispatch of English Willow bats ordered with Match Ready Service, as the oiling process takes additional time. If Match Ready or any other optional service is selected but not paid for at checkout, the order will be dispatched without that unpaid service being performed.

📦 Order Processing, Address & Delivery Conditions

The following conditions may affect dispatch or delivery:

• Out-of-stock items: If any item in your order is unavailable, we will refund that item and dispatch the remaining available items.
• Unpaid orders: Orders will not be dispatched unless payment has been completed. Please check that you have received an order confirmation email.
• Store closure: If the store is closed, your order will be dispatched on the next business day, subject to courier service availability.
• Incomplete or incorrect address: Please ensure your delivery address is complete and correct at checkout. If we identify an issue, we will contact you and wait for your confirmation before dispatch.
• Postal or courier delays: These are outside our control, but we will assist where possible to help get your order delivered.
• High-risk orders: If an order is flagged as high risk by our system, we may request confirmation of personal details for fraud-prevention checks before dispatch.
• Warehouse location: We hold stock across multiple warehouses worldwide. Orders may be dispatched from any warehouse depending on stock availability. If an item is dispatched from outside Australia, delivery may take longer than standard Australian delivery time frames.
• Customs or local delivery delays: International orders may be delayed due to customs clearance, local courier handling or other local delivery processes.

Shipping costs are non-refundable under all circumstances.

While every effort is made to keep this policy accurate and up to date, variations may occur due to currency fluctuations, typographical errors, website display errors, pricing errors, system errors, postal service changes, courier guideline changes or other factors outside our control.

Sturdy Sports will not be held responsible for such errors or variations and reserves the right to update product or postage prices where required.
